Help -> Web Pages -> Web Page Status

Starting Point: Logged into Manager with Access to Web Pages and navigated to "Manager -> Web Tools -> Web Pages".

The Status option appears as an option when you click Manage to update a Web Page. For example, if you want to edit the Status of a Web Page in the Drafts tab, then you click the Drafts tab, click the Manage button next to the page you want to Manage, click the Status option, and then you can select the desired Status. Below is a summary of the Status options for your Web Pages.

  • Drafts: This Status is for Web Pages you are working on that aren't yet ready to be Published. Whenever you create a new Web Page it will automatically go into the Drafts tab.
  • Inactive: This Status is for Web Pages that you are not actively using or developing but that you don't want to delete yet. The Inactive tab is intended to help keep your Drafts tab free of clutter.
  • Published: This Status is for Web Pages that you want to be visible to the public. In order to share a Web Page you need to have the Web Page's Status be Published, and this is necessary regardless of whether you want to use your page as a stand-alone Web Page or as a page in your Web Sites. There is a separate help article about these two ways of Sharing Web Pages.

Note: If a Published Web Page is included in a Sitemap of a Web Site, then you are not able to change the Status of that Web Page to Draft or Inactive until you remove it from the Sitemap.
