Help -> Web Sites -> Sitemap

Starting Point: Logged into Manager with Access to Web Sites and navigated to "Manager -> Web Tools -> Web Sites".

The Sitemap is where you specify which of your Published Web Pages and Web Forms to include in your Web Site and also where you specify the ordering of the included Web Pages and Web Forms in your Web Site's navigation menu. The three building blocks in Sitemaps are Headers, Folders, and Published Web Pages & Forms. Below is a quick summary of each.

  • Headers: Headers are only used on Web Sites that use the Left Navigation. Headers are basically just bold text that appears in your left navigation. Headers do not do have any impact on Web Sites that use Top Navigation or Single-Page Scrollable as their Web Site Layout Type.
  • Folders: Folders are where you include Published Web Pages and Web Forms into your Web Site. You can add pages and forms by clicking a Sitemap Folder's green plus (+) icon and selecting from your list of Published Web Pages and Web Forms. You can reorder your Sitemap by dragging and dropping, and the ordering of your Folders, Web Pages, and Web Forms determines the ordering they will have in your Web Site's menu.
  • Web Pages and Web Forms: The Sitemap section of the Manager is where you include existing, Published Web Pages and Web Forms into your Web Site by adding them to Folders. There are separate sections of the Manager and separate help articles about creating and developing Web Pages and Web Forms.

The Sitemap section of the Manager is also a convenient way to navigate to and edit Web Pages and Web Forms included in a Web Site. You can accomplish this from the Sitemap page by clicking the three lines menu icon next to the Web Page or Web Form you want to edit, and then selecting the option to edit the Design.
