Help -> To-Dos -> Creating To-Dos

Starting Point: Logged into Manager and navigated to "Manager -> Productivity Tools -> To-Dos".

Below is an overview of the different ways you can create To-Dos.

  • By clicking the check mark icon in the Top Blue Bar* and then clicking New, you can create a To-Do from any Page in the Manager, and you also have the option to have your To-Do be linked to the page are on.
  • While on the My To-Dos page, you can click New To-Do which creates a To-Do that isn't linked to any page.
  • While viewing a Ticket Details page you can click the Manage button and then click Create To-Do to create a To-Do that is linked to that Ticket and will be visible in the Inbox To-Dos tab to everyone who can see that Ticket.
  • While viewing a Project page you can click the Manage button and then click Create To-Do to create a To-Do that is linked to that Project and will be visible in the Project's To-Dos tab to everyone who can see that Project. Note: When creating To-Dos in this manner you have the option to create multiple To-Dos at once.
  • You can create a To-Do for any Idea List item by clicking the icon to the right of the List Item consisting of three horizontal lines and selecting Create To-Do.
  • You can create a To-Do from any Chat Message by clicking the check mark icon in the upper right of the message, and the To-Do will be linked to the Chat Group.

Below is a summary of the information you provide to create a To-Do.

  • To-Do Reference Link: To-Dos can be linked to tools such as linking a To-Do to a specific Ticket.
  • To-Do Due Date/Time: This the date and time you want your To-Do to be due. This date and time information is used to trigger Notifications in places like the Top Blue Bar*. There is a separate help article about To-Do Notifications.
  • To-Do Assign To: This is the Person you are assigning the To-Do to. This can be yourself or someone else on your Leadership Team.
  • To-Do Text: This is the text that explains the To-Do.

* Top Blue Bar: The Top Blue Bar is hidden for mobile users until they click the three dots icon. There is also a separate help article with more information about the Top Blue Bar.
