Help -> Calendar -> New Calendar Item
Starting Point: Logged into Manager and navigated to "Manager -> Productivity Tools -> Calendar".
To create a new Calendar Item you click the New Calendar Item button near the top right, and below is a summary of the input fields.
- Calendar Item Assigned To: This is a required field. You can assign a Calendar Item to a Person, Group, or Project.
- Calendar Item Start Date: This is a required field. This is where you specify the starting date and time of your Calendar Item which determines where it is placed on your Calendar.
- Calendar Item Duration: This is where you can specify the duration (in hours and minutes) of a Calendar Item which could be helpful for things like a meeting that is scheduled to last for a half hour.
- Calendar Item Address: This is where you can specify the physical address of a Calendar Item such as the location of an event. This will automatically create a link on the Calendar Item Details page to that address in Google Maps.
- Calendar Item Description: This is where you can describe details about your Calendar Item.
- Set Reminder For You?: If you select Yes, then you'll be asked to specify how many hours and minutes before the Calendar Item Start Date you would like a Reminder set for. Reminders set in this way function just like regular Reminders except they will also appear in the Reminders tab of the Calendar Item.
