Help -> Web Forms -> Web Form Status

Starting Point: Logged into Manager with Access to Web Forms and navigated to "Manager -> Web Tools -> Web Forms".

The Status option appears as an option when you click Manage to update a Web Form. For example, if you want to edit the Status of an Web Form in the Drafts tab, then you click the Drafts tab, click the Manage button next to the form you want to Manage, click the Status option, and then you can select the desired Status. Below is a summary of the three Status options for your Web Forms,

  • Drafts: This Status is for Web Forms you are working on that aren't yet ready to be Published.
  • Inactive: This Status is for Web Forms that you are not actively using or developing but that you don't want to delete yet. The Inactive tab is intended to help keep your Drafts tab free of clutter.
  • Published: This Status is for Web Forms that you want to be visible to the public. In order to share a Web Form you need to have the Web Form's Status be Published, and this is necessary regardless of whether you want to use your form as a stand-alone Web Form or as a form in a Web Site. We have written a help article discussing details about how to Share Web Forms.

Note: If a Published Web Form is included in a Sitemap of a Web Site, then you are not able to change the Status of that Web Form to Draft or Inactive until you remove it from the Sitemap.
