Help -> People Database -> New Person
Starting Point: Logged into Manager with Access to People Database and navigated to "Manager -> Communication Tools -> People Database".
To add people to your Ministry Inbox account you click on the New Person button, and below is an overview of the information you can enter.
- Opted-In: If this person has given you permission to email them, then you can mark them as Opted-In. If a Person in your People Database is Opted-In, then you can use our Outgoing Messages system to send them Group Emails such as a weekly newsletter. We have a separate help article about the importance of having an accurate Opted-In status.
- Contact Information: You have the option to include contact information for people in your account. The first name is the only required field, but if you have multiple people with the same first name, then you'll want to include a last name too.
Once you've added a new Person, then there are options available through that Person's Manage button, and there is a separate Manage Person help article.
There is also a Bulk Import option available for importing lots of people into your People Database.
