Help -> Admin Settings -> Stripe Integration
Starting Point: Logged into Manager as an Admin.
In order to use our online Giving & Store features, you need to have an account with Stripe (https://stripe.com), and you need to copy some information from Stripe and paste it into your Ministry Inbox Account. Below are the details.
- Information you need to get from your account with Stripe.
- Stripe Restricted Key
- To create a Stripe Restricted Key, in the Stripe Dashboard navigate to the "Developers -> API keys ->" page and click "+ Create restricted key".
- For "Checkout Sessions" select "Write".
- For "Prices" select "Read".
- For "Products" select "Read".
- Click "Create key" to create the Restricted Key.
- This is now ready for you to copy/paste as described in the bottom section below.
- Stripe Publishable Key
- In the Stripe Dashboard navigate to the "Developers -> API keys" page.
- In the "Standard keys" section you will see the "Publishable key".
- This is now ready for you to copy/paste as described in the bottom section below.
- Stripe Customer Portal URL
- In the Stripe Dashboard navigate to the "Settings -> Billing -> Customer portal" page.
- Activate the "Customer portal link".
- This is now ready for you to copy/paste as described in the bottom section below.
- Stripe Restricted Key
- Configure your Stripe account to work with the Ministry Inbox Giving system.
- In the Stripe Dashboard navigate to the "Settings -> Payments" page.
- In the "Subscriptions" section, select "Limit customers to 1 subscription".
- In the "Subscriptions" section, for the "Direct customers to manager their subscriptions on" field, select "Customer portal".
- Additional information
- Stripe Return/Cancel URL: You need to decide where to send people when they click the Home Icon button on your stand-alone Giving and Store pages. For example, you might send people to your current web site home page.
- Where to paste the information in your Ministry Inbox Account.
- Go to "Manager -> Admin Settings -> Account Info".
- Paste the information into the corresponding Stripe fields.
- Click the Update Account Info button to save your changes.
