Help -> Projects -> Linking Tickets

Starting Point: Logged into Manager with Access to Projects and navigated to "Manager -> Productivity Tools -> Projects".

You can link Tickets to Projects. For example, if you have a Project about an upcoming fishing trip, then you can link Tickets related to the fishing trip to that Project. The benefit of linking Tickets to a Project is that on the Info Tab of the Project's page you can see all the Tickets linked to that Project. Below are the steps to link a Ticket to a Project.

  1. Navigate to the Ticket Details page for the Ticket you want to link to a Project. Note: You are navigating to the Inbox section of the Manager and then click on the Ticket to get to the Ticket Details page.
  2. Click the Manage button, and then select the option to Manage Project Links.
  3. Check the boxes corresponding to the Project(s) you want to link the Ticket to.
  4. Click the Update Project Links button.

Note: People who can view a Project may not be able to view every Ticket linked to that Project. There is a separate Projects help article about Access and Groups, and there is a separate Inbox help article about Assigned Person/Group.
