Help -> Projects -> Linking Tickets
You can link Tickets to Projects. For example, if you have a Project about an upcoming fishing trip, then you can link Tickets related to the fishing trip to that Project. The benefit of linking Tickets to a Project is that on the Info Tab of the Project's page you can see all the Tickets linked to that Project. Below are the steps to link a Ticket to a Project.
- Navigate to the Ticket Details page for the Ticket you want to link to a Project. Note: You are navigating to the Inbox section of the Manager and then click on the Ticket to get to the Ticket Details page.
- Click the Manage button, and then select the option to Manage Project Links.
- Check the boxes corresponding to the Project(s) you want to link the Ticket to.
- Click the Update Project Links button.
Note: People who can view a Project may not be able to view every Ticket linked to that Project. There is a separate Projects help article about Access and Groups, and there is a separate Inbox help article about Assigned Person/Group.
