Help -> Outgoing Messages -> New Group Text Message
Starting Point: An Admin has requested and received a text messaging phone number for your Account. You are Logged into the Manager with Access to Outgoing Messages and have navigated to "Manager -> Communication Tools -> Outgoing Messages".
Below are the steps to create a new Group Text Message, such as an important reminder to send to your congregation.
- Click the New button and select New Group Text.
- Enter the Internal Description of your Group Text Message, then click Create Draft.
- From the Drafts tab, click the Manage button next to your Group Text Message and select Text Message.
- Create your text message. By default, your text message is pre-populated to start with your "Church or Account Name: ", but you are not required to start your text messages with that. It is important, however, that your recipients can identify who is sending them the text message. Also, although not shown when creating your text message, all text messages sent through our system are appended with a line return, a dash, a line return, and then "You can reply or text STOP to stop messages".
